
Aka Mica Bagnasco was born, raised and educated in Italy. She majored in acting at the Acting Academy of Florence - Bottega Teatrale di Vittorio Gassman di Firenze - where she received a full scholarship.
Mica lived in NYC for 35 years where she was an actor, producer, translator, playwright, voice over artist and the author of three theatrical pieces:
“Made in Italy Lost & Found in NYC”
“Duse’s Fever”
“Undressing Marchesa Casati.”
She was also the producer and protagonist of four one woman shows on Theater Row Theater as well as Studio 54.

In addition she adapted into English, produced and starred in the play:

“Our Fathers” by renowned Italian dramaturge Luigi Lunari at the Kirk Theater on Theater Row Theater.
In the last 15 years Mica has dedicated herself to becoming an assemblage artist and has designed and produced more than 50
wooden shadowboxes of which she’s currently writing a book titled: “Silent Worlds”. The book explores the silent eloquence of objects as
well as being a comprehensive compendium of all of her artistic endeavors in Manhattan.
